A Splash Of Color - Tutorial for Selective Colorization

I used this vase and window to mess around with selective coloring! Anyway I created a layer in Adobe CS3 then I desaturated the image. I used the history brush and painted the vase and the color came back. So this is how I made this effect. It does seem a bit centered but it is still a nice effect!
