MEET ZEUS

This is our English Mastiff Zeus. Hes also an important part of our family. He weighs about 260 now. But that is good for his breed. He loves puppies and children. He is so devoted an loyal. We love this guy lots.

HDR Images

Here are more HDR pictures here at Slocum Pier in North Carolina. Slocum Pier is located in Cherry Point in the city of Havelock. It is a beautiful place to go if you are in that area. It is located on a Marine base. I used an HDR action on them to get these effects.

Catherine's Birthday

We had Catherine's Birthday back in August. Her birthday is August 22. It was her first Birthday. We had the party looking great. We only had a couple of close friends there. Her cake was lovely and she of course was beautiful. Well, I got the phone call from my dad about my mom being in the hospital and he told me I needed to come home because it did not look good. So I was not paying much attention. She started without us. We tuned around and she was covered in the cake we had sitting on the table. Her face and hands looked like nothing but icing! I grabbed the camera! Who could resist getting pictures of that. It was her cake anyways and her day so it was not such a big deal. Imagine the horror if had been someone else's Birthday party! Ouch! Our theme was Princess everything because of course she is our princess! I managed to get pictures of the cake before it was ruined;-)

I won a photo contest with this photo!

I won a photo contest. Only 10 people won and I was one of them. I am not sure what place I got or what I won. I will find out September 28! But I am excited! I am going to be published. Anyway here is my photo! This is Jacob at the Aquarium in Corpus Christi Texas;-) The awe of a child!

Joshua Tree National Park is Blooming

These were taken on the way to the Hidden Palms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park. I had to come back at the two mile because it started to get dark but I have plans to go back and complete this 8 mile hike. I love it whaen the flowers bllom in this park. It's so beautiful. I am going to miss this place when I leave in June.

The MAGTFTC Rifle Range in Twentynine Palms, CA

I was the Staff-Nonfire at the rifle range this last week. I managed to snap off a few shots. I did not shoot. I was accountable for my units shooters. One of the many responsibilities as a SSGT.

I took these pictures at Parris Lake, Diamond Valley Lake, and Lake Elsinore in California. They were beautiful. It was a little cloudy. I used LucisArt and Dynamic-HDR. I had a wonderful time.
